From Electronics Enthusiast to Full-Time Technician

Christian’s passion for electronics started early. He always took things apart to understand how they worked, particularly focusing on the components. ” I was always taking things apart, to see their inner workings,” Christian says, recalling his childhood curiosity. His decision to pursue a career as an Electronics Technician ended up being a perfect fit.

Christian’s journey brought him to Micro Technic, where he applied for an apprenticeship after completing the ground course at his school. Despite the intimidating prospect of moving far from home, Christian saw it as an exciting opportunity. He clearly remembers his interview with our Test Department Manager, Jacob Hussak. “Normally I hate interviews, I get all nervous and sweaty, but Jacob made me feel at ease, and we had a great conversation” he recalls. Christian was offered the apprenticeship and moved to Funen, starting his journey with us.

During his time as an apprentice in our Test Department, Christian experienced remarkable growth. From small tasks to designing testing equipment for our production, he took on challenges at every step. “What I appreciated the most was being challenged while knowing I always had support when I needed it,” he says. For Christian, the camaraderie and teamwork in the department have been essential. “We have fun and support each other—both professionally and personally. That means the world to me.

For his final project, Christian chose to build a Switch Mode Power Supply, a challenging project to say the least. The result, however, spoke for itself: an impressive top grade (A) for both the project and his troubleshooting. ” I wanted to show how different systems can work together in a larger, more complex system – and I did it!” he says proudly.

And this isn’t the end of his journey. Christian will join Micro Technic full-time starting in February, and we look forward to having his talent and enthusiasm as a permanent part of our team. “I’m just so happy to stay. We have an amazing department, and Jacob isn’t just a manager but a mentor who leads by example,” Christian says.

Finally, Christian wants to send a big thank you to not only his colleagues for all their help, but also his family: “They’ve been a huge support throughout this journey—I couldn’t have done it without them.

We are incredibly proud of Christian’s journey and look forward to having him as a permanent part of our team!
