Gather the firewood

To get a fire started we first need to gather the firewood. Stage one in our engineering campfire is all about collecting  information on the tasks and challenges your business is facing.

It is important for us to have a clear and sound understanding of your exact needs, usage scenarios and expectations to design in order to develop the IoT solution or product that is suited for your specific application.

Step 1: Information Collection

Build the fire

After gathering the firewood, we need to build the fire. When building a fire, the firewood should not be packed to tightly, since air needs to get to all parts of the fire. The same goes when brainstorming on ideas! We will analyze the use cases, investigate available technologies and make preliminary draft for a PoC (Proof of Concept) using standard equipment and products in this proces.

Step 2: Designing a PoC

Light the fire

When the fire is ready to be lit, Micro Technic will light the ideas we have concluded on by transferring all our knowhow and IoT technology into a new or customized IoT solution that fits your need.

Together we can blow gently on the fire to keep it going – meaning that in this design phase we build, test, and evaluate the PoC of the IoT solution to make sure the IoT solution fits the user journey you have.

Step 3: Building & testing the PoC

Share the warmth

The last stage in our engineering campfire is the implementation phase. We are your one stop solution and have the capability to do Design-for-Manufacturing in house.

In this phase we will take the output of the PoC and finalise our feasibility study by providing an Engineering Design Specification (EDS) of the IoT solution. The object is to build a solution enabling you to collect and share valuable data and insights from your business, making it easier to optimize your business model and making a sustainable solution for your company.
