The other day, we had the pleasure of hosting TV2 FYN, who came to interview our new colleague, Rikke.
Rikke joined us last autumn after being out of the workforce for some years. Due to her ADHD diagnosis, a traditional full-time job was not possible for Rikke to handle. We saw an opportunity to match her needs with ours.
Today, Rikke works three hours a day, preparing our lunch and helping out with different kitchen tasks. She’s made a huge difference, not just in handling tasks we previously struggled to find time for, but also in bringing her positive energy to our team.
Rikke shares:
“I could see that this job was a perfect fit for me. I really wanted to start working again, but I also needed a position that allowed me to take care of myself and balance my home life.”
Linda, who was part of the hiring process, explains:
“We partnered with Assens Kommune and Konsulenthuset ballisager A/S to find the right candidate, and Rikke just felt like a great match. She has the motivation, and the skills for the job—and we could clearly see a great fit”
At Micro Technic, we believe in focusing on people’s strengths rather than their challenges.
