Overview
Micronix SBC-2800 is a Single Board CPU module based on Atmel’s AT91SAM9260 microcontroller. A combination of a power supply/charger for an external Li-Ion battery, a GSM/GPRS modem, a GPS receiver and analogue and digital I/O makes this module very useful in many standalone applications. SBC-2800 uses Telit’s GE863-GPS with a quad band (900/950/1800/1900MHz) cellular engine and a SiRFstarIIITM single chip GPS receiver. The modem is controlled by AT commands, supported by an on-board UART, and is fully compatible with the AT command set.
The power supply can be backed-up by an external Li-Ion battery. An built-in charger will insure that the battery is fully charged. SBC-2800 has 16 isolated analogue (±10V or 0-2.0V) inputs, enabling data acquisition with a resolution up to 24bits directly on-board. 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs (all opto-isolated) allowing the user to control auxiliary equipment. Wireless communication can be obtained using the GPRS/SMS feature on the GSM/GPRS modem.
The SIM card is secured in a push & push SIM card socket placed on a GSM/GPRS/GPS sub module.
